Reporting to the Procurement Director, the Manager of Global Sourcing is responsible for discovering, evaluating and recommending new OEM and ODM sources throughout the Far East that will effectively support and enable our continued growth.&nbsp; This key position will also be responsible for negotiating and closing high value contracts within budget.

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Executes sourcing of open-market items or component level parts or materials as required</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Continuously evaluates global markets for emerging trends in Toy and CPG production that support effective decision making in establishing long and short-term vendor sourcing strategy</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Remains abreast of trade relations between China, North America and Europe with respect to issues such as VAT changes, quota issues, or any related governmental, social or environmental policies that might impact business</li>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Builds effective relationships with counterparts from&nbsp;Quality, Engineering and Operations Planning teams </li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Objectively presents new vendor recommendations to&nbsp;management team and is capable of winning the support of peers in establishing new vendor sources</li>
