Have an immediate need for an Analyst to support one of our global brands.In this newly created role, you will partner with internal marketing groups to drive future brand development and transform brands to take advantage of what lies ahead.You will contribute to the development of innovation strategy to optimize sales, profitability and competitive position of assigned brand.You will be accountable for brand forecasts, recommending programs and initiatives to fulfill the short and long-term overall brand growth strategy.You will explore new initiatives and contribute to the strategic development of integrated marketing programs for more than two years out.Finally, you will manage and track success metrics as defined by the brand strategy.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Global Brand Leader and senior team, you will:
Drive future development for the brand, focusing on new initiatives for more than two years out.
Contribute to strategic development of marketing plans and roadmap for future growth.
Partner with cross-functional team (design & development, consumer insights and brand creative) in the day to day development of new opportunities.
Develop actionable recommendations based on market insights that address key business needs and objectives.
Integrate research findings with other analysis functions such as forecasting, competitive intelligence and business analytics.
Conduct ongoing market analysis, research and economic analyses for group and initiatives performance.
Review of proposed line plans, ensuring that SKU productivity objectives are satisfied.
Provide in-depth weekly tracking of key brand performance indicators and recommend corrective measures if necessary.
Provide regional and by category pricing and segment analysis.
Education and Experience Requirements
Minimum of 3 years in a business analyst or consulting role, preferably supporting a brand marketing function.
Bachelors Degree in Finance or Marketing.
MBA strongly preferred.
Functional experience and/or knowledge will include:
Demonstrated understanding of brand development tools and methodologies.
Ability to think strategically including strong skills in identifying key business programs and developing insightful solutions.
Critical Skills:
Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally and globally to gather, summarize and disseminate financial data and recommendations
Proven success in building credible relationships/partnerships with senior level business line management
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; SAP experience a plus
Well developed, verbal, written and presentation skills
