Int'l Brand Manager

Role: International Brand Manager 

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, International, the role requires someone who can develop, execute and flawlessly communicate effective brand strategies for all markets outside of North America. 


   Support and help to direct all marketing activities outside of North America for a select group of brands, including (but not limited to)

   licensing, promotions, advertising, media production, packaging, branding, public relations, trade shows, market research, pricing, costing, profitability analysis, and SKU rationalization

   Work closely with the Core Brand Managers to develop global strategies in line with the brand goals

   Work with the International teams to ensure market requirements are incorporated into product development and brand marketing strategies

   Assist in managing projects related to product development activities including (but not limited to)

   Preparing new product start documents, product costing and turn over transmittals, packaging and  product briefs

   Administer the critical path analysis process, ensuring all time lines are adhered to, all details are properly recorded, and that all parties are informed of relevant information where required

   Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Sales, Planning) as well as with outside partners (vendors, licensors, inventors) both nationally and internationally at all stages of product development to ensure the smooth running of all projects under your care. 

Experience Required:

   5 + years of consumer product brand management experience in a new product-oriented industry, preferably working with toy, entertainment, fashion, or other pop culture products

   Experience working with international brands and retail distribution channels coupled with a University or College degree in Commerce or related fields

   Direct experience with the full product development cycle, with a track record of thriving in a growth oriented and changing environment

   Direct experience dealing with overseas development and manufacturing facilities

   Experience managing multiple projects at once in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

   Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, coupled with excellent organizational communication skills, and customer service skills

   Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while continuously taking initiate and pushing projects forward under tight deadlines

   Passionate about creative excellence and willing to drive self and others to achieve “magic.”

   Ability to speak a second language an asset

$100-110k + bonus
